I am a semi-retired trade union policy wonk, now working on a range of projects. I am the Interim Director of the Jimmy Reid Foundation, Secretary of the Keir Hardie Society and Secretary of the Socialist Health Association Scotland. Past Chair of the Scottish Labour Party. Graduate in Law from University of Strathclyde. Fellow of the RSA. I have worked in government and in the public sector. I am the author of chapters in several books and a range of publications.
